- While I was in Australia, I also had a blog. Or - that might be an overstatement, as I only wrote a single real post during my entire stay. So this time will I try to be more diligent. Now simply writing more posts is a quite unambitious goal, so let us say, I will post at least once a month. There is no reason to get too ambitious the other hand.
- Last year I also suffered a number of injuries:
- In the middle of December (2006) I had a crash with a truck on my bike and suffered a severe concussion, a couple of broken teeth, and a sprained wrist.
- In the early spring I sprained my right ankle pretty badly causing my foot to turn nicely purplish blue on the affected side, and it was really painful to walk.
- Later I started getting pains in my right knee when I ran. (In all probability a "runner's knee") I had experienced something similar in the fall with my left knee and figured that a the exercises I had used to get over that could be used here again. Now, the first had simply been caused by overuse - this second was probably caused by the reduced support from my ankle. So although the exercises did have a beneficial impact, they didn't address the underlying problem. So the injury kept popping up again later.
- A month or so before departing to Australia I hit a kid on his scooter on my bike and broke my right arm/wrist. Obviously, a fracture in a joint is not very pleasant, and I have still not attained full stability in it. So it is sometimes painful to push or lean with/on it.
- After being away an entire semester I definitely also have some catching up with my friends to do. Oh, I won't start listing all the things, I have missed doing with them - I won't be able to remember all of them. Analogous, I need to keep in touch with my new friends from Adelaide - something I have formerly been pretty bad at.
- Then there is obviously all the ordinary - eat more healthy, study more diligently, spend less money, spread more love, procrastinate less, be more optimistic, so on, so forth...
Happy New Year everyone, and again welcome to my new blog.

Yeah, you better post a lot more this time! Welcome to web 2.0! ;)
Yeah, I have already got the topic for another post. But it might take a couple days before I have thought it through. :)
So how is this whole "Now simply writing more posts is a quite unambitious goal, so let us say, I will post at least once a month. There is no reason to get too ambitious the other hand." working for you? :P
You sure have to post a lot quite soon to get an average of 1 post per month! :P
